Zero Authenticator is a secure mobile application used for generating time-based one-time passwords as part of two-factor authentication. It adds an extra layer of security to your Comity account by requiring a unique verification code in addition to your password.

Using Zero Authenticator ensures that only you can access your account, even if someone else knows your login credentials. This guide will help you understand how Zero Authenticator works and how to set it up quickly and easily.

Step-by-step instruction:

1) Click the buttons below to download the Zero Authenticator app
Choose the appropriate store link for your device (App Store or Google Play).

2) Open Zero Authenticator

Once installed, open the Zero Authenticator app and tap the “+” (plus) button to add a new account.

You can add an account by either scanning a QR code or entering the key manually.

  • If the Comity apps display a QR code, simply scan it using the camera in Zero Authenticator.

  • If you have a text key, choose the “Enter key manually” option and fill in the required fields.

3) Once the account is added, a generated code will appear on the right side.
This code refreshes automatically and is used to sign in to your account securely.

If you're not sure how to use this code for authentication, please refer to our Account Authenticate guide.

Optional: Enhance Your App Security

If you want to further protect your data and account, you can enable additional security settings within the Zero Authenticator app.

1. Tap the gear icon to open the settings menu.

2. Select the "Security" option.

Note: Available security options may vary depending on your device.

  • On iPhone: You can enable Face ID and PIN code.

  • On Android: You can enable Fingerprint authentication and PIN code.

To change your PIN code, simply tap "Change Pin".

4) To change the font size, go to Settings, tap "Code Size", and select the size that’s most comfortable for you.
